Hello, my name is Skydude and just like many of you, I am a Noob to NFTs. About a year ago in April of 2021, I started seeing more and more articles about these things called NFTs with funny names like CryptoPunks and Bored Apes. I started to get more curious as there seemed to be so money being thrown around and asked many of my friends if they knew what was going on. They did not. So, I continued to aimlessly read an article here and there, not really paying too much attention. Then, in September of 2021, I started talking to my brother-in-law about a “project” he was into, The Roaring Leaders. I have written an entire article about them and that project, which you can find the link to here [coming soon!], so be sure to check that out! I was then baby stepped through the whole process of buying crypto on an exchange, setting up my MetaMask, and even helping me purchase my very first NFT!

I know many of you are interested in taking your first steps into NFTs and want to be careful. That’s the role I want to help facilitate. I’m excited about NFTs and where they can take us in the future and want to encourage others to safely explore the millions of different opportunities these “non-fungible tokens” can potentially provide for us. Being a novice (or Noob) myself, I can’t tell you I have all the answers, but I’m hoping to learn right along with you. And, by all means, if you have a comment or suggestion or if you have a question about NFTs that you would like answered, please send me a message via the Contact form. I’m eager to hear from you all and to help as best I can!

So, now that you know a little about me, let me tell you how best to navigate this site. If you have absolutely no clue what an NFT is you’ve already started in the right place with this “About Noob2NFTs” page. I think it’s best to just continue right down the line, the next page being What is an NFT?,  before moving on to everything else under the Start Here… tab. (Be sure not to skip the Glossary of NFT Terms page, because the crypto/NFT world has an entire language all their own and there are quite a few helpful terms in there.) Then, I would suggest you move on over to the NFT Help menu and down those pages as well. For those of you who already have a basic understanding of NFTs, and are looking to further your education along with me, I have many projects I’d like to share with you that I’m excited about (you can find those on my Noob2NFTs Favorites NFT Projects page) and I have some additional insights into NFTs you might find interesting as well on the BLOG page. And, to those of you who are NFT masters already, I believe that this site will still provide some helpful info, but if you are just too cool for school, I would say please share this with your friends and family who aren’t as NFT savvy. Noob2NFTs.com is meant to educate and bring people into our NFT space, so, by sharing it, we all gain from it.
